This three bedroom family home is part of a Grade II listed Georgian terrace a stone’s throw from Hampstead Heath.
The characterful house is located in a leafy and quiet terrace dating back to the 1790s and is full of charm and history. The terrace has a coveted English Heritage blue plaque mak-ing it the perfect base for families or groups of friends seeking a base with a distinctive past.
It is in an area known as Dartmouth Park in North West London close to Highgate, Hamp-stead and Kentish Town. It is well served by excellent transport links with Tufnell Park and Kentish Town underground lines on the Northern line within walking distance. Gospel Oak overground station is also nearby.
As well as three double bedrooms, there is a shared family bathroom, a piano room and a large mature garden to the rear. The terrace stands back from the road and immediately outside is a green communal area with lawn and shrubs.
The accommodation is situated across three floors giving plenty of room for up to six guests to enjoy space and privacy.
Homeowner Ben’s house is full of interesting artwork, nods to his love of music and other quirky details and period features including wooden shutters and original wooden flooring.
The kitchen/diner has all modern conveniences for self-catering such as a hob cooker, microwave and dishwasher and is a perfect space for leisurely meals.
On the first floor is a wonderful dual aspect reception room featuring a spacious lounge at the front with views towards Parliament Hill. Through this area is a music room with full-size piano.
On the next floor is the master bedroom with king-size bed, storage and an en-suite bath-room with walk-in shower and bathtub. The bathroom has what is known as a Jack ’n’ Jill layout meaning it has doors from the bedroom and landing for use by all guests.
Up another floor is a further bedroom with double bed, garden views and a desk space ideal for those wishing to work from home. Bedroom 3 has two single futon-type beds which are best suited to children or young adults.

The Location
Situated in NW5 off Highgate Road in an area known as Dartmouth Park which borders fashionable Belsize Park, Islington and Kentish Town. An excellent selection of boutiques, shops and delicatessens are moments away and there are good transport connections via bus or Northern line at Kentish Town and Tufnell Park. A walk away is Hampstead Heath, one of the most famous green open spaces in London with amenities including ponds for swimming, zoo and butterfly house. Parliament Hill is an area of open parkland in the south-east corner of the Heath and from there you can enjoy sweeping views across the London skyline. The Homeowner recommends the local Bull and Last pub and the Southampton Arms both on Highgate Road. Famous Highgate cemetery, resting place of Karl Marx is also nearby.
