Welcome to our home! We hope you have a lovely stay. Our flat is situated in a peaceful leafy street but is only a few steps away from Herne Hill and North Dulwich stations. Buzzing Brixton with all its quirky restaurants is a very short bus ride away. There are two large parks (Brockwell and Dulwich park) a few minutes walk away. We have decorated our flat with little souvenirs from our travels and hope you feel right at home. SPACE This home is a stylish and comfortable place to call your home away from home. A real highlight of the property is the wooden flooring and an original fireplace which lend a unique Victorian feel to the room and creates a unique sense of personality in the home. The living area combines refined period features with lovely finishing touches to create a relaxing place to stay. Take the weight off your feet, chill out on the sofa and make yourself at home! We also have several plants to keep you company. In the kitchen, you’ll find all the modern appliances you need to cook a delicious meal that you can serve to friends or family sat around the dining table. The master bedroom has a super comfortable king-size bed with fresh hotel-quality linens. There’s also ample storage and wardrobe space so you can fully unpack and settle in. The second bedroom, meanwhile, boasts a double-size sofa-bed, also fitted with superior-standard linens to ensure you enjoy a great night’s sleep. You can freshen up in the well-appointed bathroom where you can either enjoy a relaxing soak in the tub or wake up in the morning to an energising shower. Towels and toiletries are provided. The property will be professionally cleaned before your stay. GUEST ACCESS You will have access to the entire property and it is important that you are respectful towards your neighbours and keep noise to a minimum after 10 pm. NEIGHBOURHOOD If you walk down Beckwith Road and turn right towards half moon lane you will encounter a small supermarket Budgens with a cashpoint less than 5 minute walk. Further down on half moon lane towards herne hill there are two pharmacies, several restaurants and cafes as well as drying cleaning stores. By herne hill station there are two larger supermarkets one Tesco and a Sainsbury's. At the bottom of Beckwith Road where meets half moon lane there is a lovely bakery called Christopher's that has freshly baked bread every morning and lovely coffee. If you continue down on Half moon lane you have several restaurants- italian, thai , french and etc. You can also walk towards dulwich village or take a bus to brixton where you will be spoiled for choice. TRANSIT The closest stations are North Dulwich and Herne Hill, connecting you to the Southern and Thameslink train service to London Bridge or Brixton, Victoria, The City, Blackfriars and King's cross. There are several local buses to Brixton, Peckham, Clapham and Shoreditch. The Citymapper app is recommended in getting around! NOTE There is a piano in the second bedroom. Feel free to play it if you know how but please refrain from damaging the keyboard as has sentimental value. Next to the main bedroom there is a cupboard containing some of our belongings please respect our privacy.
