Nestled on a narrow street in Covent Garden, New Row Studio II is as central as it gets. The sights, shops and restaurants of central London are within walking distance, and the sitting room on the first floor (to the right as you step inside) overlooks cafés and boutiques below. To the left is the kitchen, which has white cabinets and worktops of dark wood. The interiors may be newly renovated, but the exposed beams tell a different story – this home is part of a historic, listed building.

To the right of the kitchen there’s a white-tiled bathroom, or to the left is the small bedroom and study (with a single Murphy bed). There’s a double Murphy bed back in the sitting room, which folds down to make the most of precious space.:
