Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The cottage was spotless and very cosy inside. Perfectly sized for a couples getaway and the location was absolutely brilliant.. the village of Bourton on the water just a stones throw away! The shower was powerful and everything felt brand new. Julie the property manager was so friendly and helpful, she was lovely any time we crossed paths.

Negative: In terms of the lower score on facilities we said a full length mirror would have been very helpful as when someone was in the shower the other person couldn't use the bathroom mirror from the steam etc. We did also find the cottage quite chilly, the heating didn't feel the best in the living room and we did attempt the log fire but couldn't get it working right (our first attempt we've never used one before so maybe our fault!) We did end up having to sit in our fleeces with blankets on the Saturday eve when it was very windy outside. Overall quite minor things and we would definitely love to return one day!

Summary: Beautiful and cosy.. perfect for our mini moon!
