Travel Purpose: business

Positive: No breakfast offered, but there are at least 4 local cafes within 5 minutes, plus all the options around Victoria Station. This place is REALLY basic and reflected in the price. You’re not getting luxury, but it’s clean and safe and quiet

Negative: On arrival I was told I was lucky because they were overbooked and that happened because by chance I arrived 5 hours ahead of schedule. Be careful choosing the room; some do not have an en-suite.

Summary: Book carefully, ideally pay in advance and embrace a cheap cheerful stay in the centre of London.
