Harrow Cottage sits in the heart of the suffolk countryside, the nearby village of Yoxford has a post office, shop, delicatessen and an antiques centre. The nearby towns of Aldeburgh, Southwold and Walberswick and beaches are just a short drive away. A great area for walking and cycling, the nearby RSPB Minsmere reserve offers the opportunity to spot rare bird species as well as otters and red deer - a wildlife lovers paradise!
Size: sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms Beds: 1 x 5ft double bed, 1 x zip and link twin beds, can be used as a double.
Accommodation Ground floor: Living area: sofa and two armchairs. Wood burner. Kitchen: electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, separate freezer in the communal area, Extendable dining table and four chairs. First floor: Master bedroom: double (5ft) bed. Ensuite bathroom: bath with shower over, WC, hand basin. Bedroom 2: zip and link beds, so can be used as either double or twin. Ensuite shower room: walk-in shower, WC hand basin.
Entertainment: digital TV with Freeview and built-in DVD player. Radio and ipod docking station, books, board games. For families: cot and highchair are available to hire (£15 each). Outside: landscaped garden, unfenced pond and moat. Garden furniture and BBQ Parking: ample parking available. General: WiFi. Bed linen and towels are provided. central heating with an additional wood-burning stove. One small bag of logs, kindling and firelighters provided (November-March). No smoking. Pets: Pets are welcome but must be kept downstairs at all times and kept under control near the owner’s livestock. Note - you will need to pay an additional pet fee. Dogs should not be left unattended in the property. Accidental Damage Deposit: You may need to pay an Accidental Damage Deposit or Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver for this property. Where applicable we will contact you in good time before your holiday with further details and to take payment. Notes: washing machine, tumble dryer in adjoining communal building. The cottage can be rented with Plough Cottage (sleeps 4) and/or The Cow Shed (sleeps 2) next door for larger family groups.
