Positive: Outstanding property, home from home. Large bedrooms, family bathroom and en-suite (toilet and basin) useful when staying with son, his partner and 2 young children. Play room kept 4 year old occupied, disappeared to regularly play in the room. Kitchen very well equipped, dishwasher, and washing machine included. BBQ area outside, and lovely garden with great aspect of woods etc would be great in summer. Christmas tree, decorations, and crackers on dining table a nice touch. Central location to Thornton-Le-Dale (Mathewson’s original car auction site, now gift shop), Pickering for Mathewson’s Main Car auction site/pick up Steam Train, Scarborough and Whitby coastal towns also only 26-27 minutes drive away. Scarborough 10 miles away is nearest supermarket so need to be organised.

Negative: The only fault was the very noisy toilet flush. It needs a short quiet flush. We didn’t flush the toilets at night to avoid waking anyone up.
