Apley Hall is the principal house of the stunning development known as Apley Park. Standing in glorious rolling parkland, with an outlook over the River Severn the house can accommodate up to 23 guests over eight spacious bedrooms.
The house was commissioned by Thomas Whitmore in 1811 and was designed to emulate a romantic castle looking over the River Severn. Apley Hall is believed to be the inspiration behind many famous novels, predominantly built in a Gothic style, the exterior features battlemented parapets and mullioned windows. The Grade II listed property has been elegantly and lovingly restored to offer luxurious holiday accommodation with all modern-day comforts.
The state room interiors showcase ornate plaster and fan vaulted ceilings, while looking out through the large sash windows across the stunning parkland views. Guests have use of all the state rooms including eight bedrooms, cinema, gym, sauna, games room and large kitchen. Use of the dining hall is by arrangement only; guests would need to pre-book directly with Finest Retreats.

The master four-posted bedroom suite showcases its own sitting room, two fireplaces, en suite bathroom, and views across the gardens. At the top of the back staircase, an attractive bedroom with archway to kitchenette and shower room. One cot is included in bedroom four, with an additional travel cot also available for younger guests.
Apley Hall is approached through a private gated entrance, which leads up to the front of the house and the impressive arched entranceway. Whilst rural, the house is close to the village of Norton and has easy access to the pretty market town of Bridgnorth (7miles) and Telford (7miles).
With access to over 10 acres of gardens and parkland, to the front of the property guests can enjoy the east facing formal lawned garden with stunning views. In the southernly corner, a wooden pergola perfect for outdoor dining and entertaining.
Please be advised that Apley Hall is a family-oriented property and does not accommodate stag/hen groups or large events and parties.
