From the stable door entrance, the ground-floor hallway has plenty of space for coats and boots, while the exposed stonework gives a lovely cottagey feel as you arrive. The large, recently-refurbished family bathroom comes complete with a bath, separate shower, and WC. There is also a small single bedroom on the ground floor, There's also a washing machine in the cupboard under the stairs.
The first floor houses the lounge diner and kitchen, and has access to the garden. The lounge-diner is a light and airy room with dual-aspect windows and great views over the garden. The lounge area has a smart TV and soundbar, two sofas, and a wood burner. There is a dining table and chairs set into the window at the back of the room.

Crowthers Hill itself is steep, as is the walk up to the parking at Jawbones Hill and the walk from the town centre, so the cottage may not be ideal for those with mobility problems. The Park & Ride at the top of town is an excellent service (buses run from spring to autumn). The cost is £5 per day and can be topped up using the Ringo app too. There is also free overnight parking.
