Also worth a visit are Beer, Seaton, Lyme Regis, Sidmouth and Branscombe. There is walking on the Blackdown Hills, or Dartmoor (within easy driving distance), and of course, Exeter cathedral city with its shops and restaurants. Set between Dartmoor and Exmoor, the cottages are well-placed to visit the quaint villages - and no visit would be complete without a Devon cream tea.
