No smoking.. Retaining many original features, this mid-17th century character cottage exhibits a multi-fuel burner in a vast stone inglenook fireplace and a wealth of exposed beams. It also features a bespoke country-style kitchen with built-in appliances and plenty of storage.
Set in the Dales National Park, the cottage stands as one of a row in the village where the much acclaimed Calendar Girls was filmed. Carefully furnished and co-ordinated, it makes an ideal holiday retreat from which to walk direct from the door, or tour the surrounding Yorkshire Dales. Three country inns can be found in the village along with shops and restaurant, with riding, fishing and caving close by. Bustling Skipton with its historic castle and 18-hole golf course is a short drive, and endless hours of fun can be had on the River Wharfe which runs through the village. Pub and restaurant 60 yards.
