Welcome to Woldsend, our much-loved self-catering home.
A perfect base for meeting and exploring the North Cotswolds, we are located just a 15-minute walk from the town centre and train station. Moreton in Marsh is a quaint little town with plenty of traditional pubs and cafes to visit.
We happily welcome all friends, families and furry loved ones!
A spacious semi-detached home with a generous garden, we hope you will love it as much as we do. The garden has a table and few chairs so you can enjoy any good weather and the area has a beautiful quiet to make it a truly relaxing space.
Inside the property are all the most important modern comforts. The kitchen is fully equipped if you choose to cook and dine in all together with a separate dining room to eat in.
Upstairs we have four bedrooms: Two triple rooms, one double and one twin. The master bedroom has a single bed and large King Size, which can be split into two single beds if required. The other triple room is a bunk bed with a double on the bottom and single on the top. If needed and requested prior to arrival we can provide a travel cot and highchair for young infants, however please note you will need to bring your own bedding for the cot. In total the house can comfortably sleep up to 9 adults or children. If you have specific beds you would like made up please let us know prior to arrival and we shall do what we can to make your stay comfortable.
The property is also equipped with two bathrooms, useful for a larger group! The upstairs bathroom has a bathtub and shower, the downstairs is recently refurbished and has a shower. There is also a very convenient hallway as you enter the property, great for sorting muddy boots and paws after long walks. We also provide a Welcome Folder with a few good walks and recommendations for days out or the beautiful town High Street is just a 15-minute walk away. Here you will find a selection of pubs, cafes and restaurants as well a few boutique shops to meander around. There is a large Aldi on the edge of town great for picking up bits, a 25-minute walk or a 5-minute drive, as well as other smaller convenience shops.
We love welcoming people to our home and have enjoyed the lovely comments over the last year or so. We are well documented as being sparkling clean and homely which we think is exactly what you need for an invigorating break away! There is free on street parking available on the road and the easy access key safe means you can get your holiday started as soon as possible. Towels and bedding will be on the beds ready for your arrival.
Our small house rules are very simple as we like guests to make themselves welcome; We kindly request dogs are kept downstairs for your stay with us. All furry friends are welcome but will incur a small extra cleaning charge of £20 per dog for the duration of the trip. We ask for honesty if any damages occur during your stay. There are ponds in the garden so we ask young children are not left unaccompanied in case they hop the small fence. Please note this home is only for family and friend groups for a holiday, we do not accept business bookings. If you do not have a profile picture and/or reviews on your profile we will not accept your booking.
We do hope you will enjoy your stay in our quiet little town. We have endeavoured to provide all you will need but feel free to message us with any questions you have. If requested we can look at early check in/ late check out however please be aware this will be subject to extra fees and only possible if it works around other bookings, this does make it hard to accommodate during peak times.
