Positive: The staff were friendly and although our room wasn't ready when we were told it would be, they let us drop our bags into the room and get changed so that we could make our way to Old Trafford in plenty of time before the room was cleaned. We were appretiative of this. On our return, the room was clean and comfortable if somewhat basic.

Negative: I was originally supposed to be staying in the Trivelles Eccles.... I was contacted a few days before to be told that our room had been double booked and we were to be given a free upgrade and as an apology we could have a 12.30pm early check-in.... on arrival the room was not ready and I was asked to pay for the early check-in.... although once the situation was explained, this was resolved. I don't believe this was actually an upgrade because if anything the Eccles hotel looked to be considerably nicer.
