Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: We have stayed here before and it is a great place to stay to break up a very long journey. The lodge is cosy, comfortable, clean and excellent for bringing a dog. We went again to The Jolly Thresher pub which is a short drive away. When we had trouble with the electric gate, the owner responded immediately to assist us.

Negative: The basin in the bathroom is very small. Everything else is excellent.

Summary: Comfortable place to stay in rural Cheshire, yet easily accessible for the M6
