Positive: - the owners were very communicative and responsive to all of my many questions! - the hot tub was lush and it was maintained daily without feeling intrusive - the location was close enough to the main facilities without being too close - the jet ski lake was stunning and the kids loved jumping into the lake for a quick dip - the decking and patio overlooking the lake with the variety of garden furniture and cushions - the owners are doing themselves an injustice and should advertise that there is a dishwasher and two hairdryers - so much kitchenware including bbq utensils and very large pans to accommodate a big group - the coal bbq was a lovely addition and it was spotless for our use, we bought our own coals but there was some there for our use if we needed it - the welcome basket was a lovely gesture, thank you - they provided hand wash, some toilet paper, hand towels, tea towels, washing up liquid and lots more, it was so very well equipped - parking for two cars was great - the owners helped source us entertainment passes and guided us with pre- booking activities, we are very grateful for this - we had the best first time stay at Tattershall Lakes and this was mainly due to the accommodation which suited the needs of all six guest (2x adults, 2x 17 yr olds and 2x 12 yr olds) - we are already considering returning!

Negative: - it smelt of dogs for the entire stay including the bedding, luckily we bought our own pillows otherwise it would not have been very pleasant - we found a dog chew bone under one of the sofas - we bought our own air fryer to make things easier for our stay, would you consider providing one in the cabin? - we bought our own fans, but maybe this is something you could consider supplying as there is no air conditioning? - the noise from people in the other cabins and walking past made it difficult to sleep some nights, but this is not the owners fault just inconsiderate people arguing on their holiday! - somewhere to dry out clothes when raining would be great. - thank goodness that we checked if towels were supplied otherwise we would have turned up without any! - we noticed that other lodges had ladders from the lake onto the decking, would be nice to add this - having a gate from the balcony to the decking on lake side would be helpful instead of having to walk all the way round. Looks like there used to be a gate but this is now screwed shut.
