Positive: Beautiful setting, so peaceful and pretty. Waking up to the sound of the babbling river and birds singing. The cottage was well equipped. The beds were comfortable and plenty of extra blankets available if needed. Parking was close by but definitely need to be able to walk up a narrow pathway and over a small wooden bridge, up a step and across neighbours frontage to access the cottage. It was quaint and Beautiful but could be a problem for someone with mobility issues. Although a little outdated, this is part of it's charm and for the price paid it was well worth it. Very limited Internet or phone signal at the cottage, which again adds to the charm as it's so relaxing and you feel like you really are away from it all.

Negative: To first access the cottage you are required to go to the owners farm and then follow them in the car to the cottage. This seemed like an extra amount of driving that was unnecessary and tiring after travelling to the area initially. The owner is lovely and showed us how to use the hot water. We just seemed to be following them for quite a while, around country lanes and it was a bit of a mystery tour until we got our bearings. It would probably be better if there were a key safe and you could travel straight to the cottage. There is not a proper shower but there is a shower head attached to the bath taps. Water pressure is very low, I believe because water is from a local spring. This wasn't a problem as we were able to wash and the water does get very hot very quickly but thought it should be mentioned for those who really want a good powerful shower. The bathroom did show signs of wear and mould but only slight and it really didn't affect us.
