A glamorous storm grey living room with two richly embellished draped windows contains two decadent velvet sofas to seat 3 and 4, along with two deep armchairs facing a large fireplace with electric coal effect fire. Deep alcoves with cupboards either side have a TV, DVD, Bose Sound System and a selection of films and games. The Smart TV in the living room includes access to Amazon Prime and Netflix.
The chic grey kitchen has smart cabinets, smooth stone floors and sparkling white granite tops. Tall traditional style cabinets are stacked with crockery and cooking utensils and contain a large fridge and separate freezer, two large dishwasher drawers and lots of storage. In the cooking area is a large 5 ring gas hob, an electric oven and fitted microwave. An oak dining table seating 6 is in front of a tall shuttered window with a view of the deep green courtyard garden. WiFi, a radio, another i-pod player and telephone are all provided in this room.
An atmospheric garden room with lively bird and blossom wallpaper has an original decorative fireplace, two easy chairs and a sideboard. It leads out onto a pretty walled courtyard garden with wrought-iron table and chairs to seat 6. Leading down stairs is a bookcase with a selection of books.
At ground floor level is a plum coloured cloak-room with small hand-basin with storage under and a WC. A large fitted utility is situated in the basement through the 2nd bedroom. It has a washing machine and separate dryer and plenty of worktop space with a door leading into the small shaded courtyard.
The three double bedrooms are down thickly carpeted stairs lined with pictures. The spacious Master bedroom has rich green and cerise peony wallpaper behind the ornate 5’ king size bed. A velvet bedcover, richly embroidered window drapes and large mahogany chest of drawers all add to the grandeur. A large fitted wardrobe provides shelving and storage. There is a smart and spacious grey tiled en-suite shower room with a large corner shower (with rainfall shower head along with a hand-held unit), a stone topped vanity unit with hand-basin and a WC.
Another elegant double room on this floor decorated in eau-de-nil colours, has a 4’6’’ double bed, chest of drawers, large double wardrobe and easy chair. Two large windows look onto a basement courtyard. This room has a spacious traditional style bathroom also in eau-de-nil and white marble. There is a traditional claw-foot bath with shower over, hand-basin and WC with overhead storage.
Down a final flight of steps is a large twin room in green and plum colours, with pretty antiqued silver mirrors and a dressing table. Two single 3’ beds zip and link to become a 6’ super king bed. In the lobby just outside beside the stairs, is a small demi-wardrobe with a two drawers. Please note this room has a low ceiling.
A permit is provided for holidays completed by 21st Dec 2022 to park one car in resident bays on the neighbouring streets on a first come basis. For additional cars Charlotte st car park is very close. Alternatively the Bath Spa train and bus stations are a 10-15 minute walk away.
