Positive: The location was great, in a nice neighbourhood, not far from Harrods and the Natural History Museum.

Negative: The apartment was not set up for 4 guests, even though we booked for x4, so we had insufficient bedlinen and towels. It was hardly set up for 2 guests - no bath mat, no hand towels, no tea-towel and insufficient toilet paper (2 half used rolls). When the owner arrived with the linen, he made it feel like we were overburdening him. The bed was made up with cheap old mismatched linen - stuff that I would reserve for camping or drop sheets for painting. The towels and bed linen that were later delivered were similarly old and mismatched. The courtyard was gloomy - decorated with a dead plant and random garden equipment and objects. It was not set up for use. There was an old indoor table left there, but no chairs. The place was set up in a way that it made you feel you were staying at a messy, disorganised friend's house - junk in kitchen drawers and no order in the cupboards, so it was hard to find things. The kitchen was also furnished with random mismatched crockery etc. No coffee, bottled water or other welcome items. I could go on... This accommodation was not managed in a way that made you feel looked after.
