There is an overground station which goes to Clapham Junction in 5 minutes and to Victoria in 15 minutes. The underground station is on the Northern Line with easy access to Waterloo, Embankment, Leicester Square and the newly reopened Battersea Power Station. Balham has many independent coffee shops and retail stores, with Milk on Hildreth Street being the pick of the bunch for a weekend brunch.
