19th century barn conversion is set in 300 acres of private land brimming with birdlife and award winning woodland. With a stylish kitchen and large sitting room with cosy wood burner its an ideal base to explore the delights of the Conwy Valley. The master bedroom has views right over to Llyn Brenig with a stunning glass feature window. 30 minutes from the beaches and 20 minutes from Snowdonia National Park with Bodnant Garden, Zip world and Surf Snowdonia all in easy reach.
The space
Entrance hallway with hooks for coats and plenty of space for boots with a downstairs loo and basin. Walk up a few steps through to the kitchen which has courtyard views. The dining area looks out on the private patio garden as does the sitting room. Plenty of room upstairs with a superking in the master bedroom which has spectacular views. The spacious second bedroom has a superking "zip and link" bed which can be split into two singles. Please request at time of booking if you would like the beds split. The barn is furnished with a mixture of modern design classics and antique pieces of furniture as well as unique art pieces. Sculpture done by Matt Sherratt my husband whose work is hand made and exported world wide.
Guest access
There is parking next to the property. No public transport so your own car is definitely needed. Appromiately 1.5 mile walk to local village which has a village shop. Fabulous 4000 year old yew tree in the village churchyard the oldest living tree in Wales. Great local pub in the village the Old Stag we recommend booking. Great butcher OE Metcalf in Llanwrst and Silicons Bakery which does lovely honey and spelt bread, and great apple pies.
