Welcome to the tranquil Inglenook Annexe in Hope Valley, Shropshire. Our beautiful property and spacious annexe is perfectly located for exploring Shropshire, the Shropshire Hills (an AONB) and Wales. Whether you like exploring historic towns and villages, spending the day walking or cycling or curled up with a good book - this is the place for you!
The space:
Inglenook Annexe feels like a home away from home with wonderful countryside views from every window. Downstairs, there is a large, spacious living room, well equipped kitchen, comfy conservatory and WC. Upstairs, there are two good sized bedrooms with double beds and a family bathroom (bath, shower and toilet). Outside is a private garden and patio for your enjoyment. Across from the annexe is our plot of land which you can walk through (follow the path) to get to the woods. The annexe enjoys natural light throughout the day. It is a calm and comfortable space waiting to be enjoyed.
Guest access:
Inglenook Annexe has its own private entrance, large garden, outdoor seating area and off-road parking for 2 - 3 cars close to the entrance.
Other things to note
Children are welcome at Inglenook Annexe. Two junior mattresses (with bedding) can be placed on the floor in the larger of the bedrooms. We also have a travel cot (with mattress) and a high chair for infants. There is a selection of books and toys for babies and toddlers too.
Other Things To Note:
The TV can only be used to watch DVDs which we have an array of. The DVD player is at the back of the TV. You are welcome to bring your own DVDs too. It also has a USB port. There is an HDMI cable provided so that you can plug in your laptop.
Due to our rural location, not all mobile networks work at the property. EE seems to be the best. However, not far from the property you will have mobile service. We do have decent WiFi at the property for you to use. At times, connectivity can dip, however, we are on site to help rectify this.
Bicycles can be safely locked away in our shed.
We have a friendly dog and two shy cats. We have gates preventing our dog from entering the annexe garden. These gates must be kept closed at all times.
There is a set of double interleading doors which are locked for the duration of your stay.
During winter, in the event of snow or icy road conditions, guests may park in our private top parking area for easier access.
