This home can be your perfect base in London for up to 4 guests, with fantastic access to central Camberwell and Peckham as well as The Oval, Waterloo, London Bridge and further into central London. Elephant & Castle, Kennington and Oval underground stations are all within a 20 minute walk, or a short bus ride away. As well as this, the entrance to Burgess Park is directly opposite the flat, perfect for leisurely walks and a touch of nature in central London! The home is located on the fourth floor (via stairs) of the building, set back from the road behind a private courtyard. The hub of the home is the open living and kitchen area which comes with a cosy corner sofa, WiFi, all the kitchen mod cons you would expect and a dining table for sharing meals or working. The two double bedrooms lead off from the hallway, both with ample storage. They will be made up with hotel quality linen to ensure you're comfortable throughout your stay. The bathroom, which will be stocked with towels and toiletries, sits at the back of the flat with a bath and attached shower. This is a great home in a fantastic area, with easy access around the local area and further into the city and we hope you'll love your stay with us! The Neighborhood: If you’re looking to cook while staying at the flat, there is a Tesco Express a few minutes walk away from the flat, on Camberwell Road. Alternatively if you’re looking to eat or drink out while staying at the flat we’d recommend heading into Camberwell for a great selection. Some of our favourites include, The Crooked Well, The Camberwell Arms and The Pigeon Hole. We also love Fowlds cafe for amazing coffee and homemade food, which is a short 2 minute walk from the flat. Nearby Peckham is a bustling neighbourhood with something for everyone. It has an amazing selection of cafes, bars and restaurants, including Mr Bao, Bussey Building, The Rye, Miss Tapas and John The Unicorn, as well as the very popular Peckham Rye park. Other points of interest include Burgess Park, directly opposite the main building, The Oval nearby or a short trip up to London Bridge to visit the Shard and Borough market. The transport links nearby also offer fantastic routes around the city. Getting Around: The property is well situated to get you around London. Kennington underground (Northern line) is within a 15 minute walk and Oval underground (Northern line) is within a 20 minute walk. These stations offer easy access to London Bridge, Old Street, Waterloo, Euston and Leicester Square, amongst others, giving you the opportunity to travel across the city with ease. Bus stops X and N are just outside the property and serve numerous bus routes to Shoreditch, Clapham, Liverpool Street, Dulwich, Holborn and Euston amongst others. Otherwise, there are several bus stops near the property that can navigate you around London and the City. Uber and taxis are also readily available in London.
