Negative: Poor quality of kitchen equipment and no storage space for food items Broken sink plug in bathroom Broken bedroom light Damp stains in old part of house Lack of thorough cleaning of the property and attention to detail (rusty bathroom bin, hardly any washing up liquid and dishwater tablets, no oven tray, toaster full of old burnt crumbs, unclean toilet in the summerhouse).

Summary: Shute Cottage is lovely, but really needs better cleaning and checking, plus an upgrade of kitchenware.
