For families, there is a boating lake, adventure playground, football field, skate-park and outdoor roller-skating rink within 0.25 miles. For history enthusiasts, Dovercourt and Harwich enjoy a rich maritime history. The Harwich Redoubt Fort, 1 mile away, offers interactive military and social history, or visit the Light ship LV18, associated with the floating Pirate radio station. Take the passenger ferry to Landguard or Shotley, or join a seal watching trip. Further afield, the Stour Estuary, 6 miles away, is the perfect spot for walking, cycling and birdwatching. The king-size bedroom is decorated in a palette of relaxing neutrals, with breathtaking views around the coast as far as the Naze, and a juliette balcony, and has a handsome en-suite bathroom with a separate bath and shower.
