Enjoy riverside walks directly from the property or get out on the water in a rowing boat or on a paddleboard. You’ll be just 200 metres from Wareham’s bustling quay. Here, you’ll find an array of independent pubs and restaurants, many offering outdoor seating overlooking the water. In summer months, you can hop on a river cruise or enjoy an excursion on one of the pleasure boats to Poole Harbour. For a traditional day at the seaside, journey into Swanage, 10 miles away. Hire one of the colourful beach huts for the day, visit the Victorian pier, and potter around the cute gift shops. Nearby attractions include Corfe Castle and the steam trains of the Swanage Railway (both within 5 miles).
