Nuthatch Lodge is a great base for this wonderful part of Wales with its sandy beaches, ancient castles and stunning scenery. The beaches of Aberporth, Tresaith, Llangrannog and Poppit Sands are a short drive away and all are dog friendly with split beaches, also close by are the beaches of Mwnt and Penbryn which are owned by the National Trust so dogs are not allowed during the summer months.

Maybe you want to visit a castle of which there are many to choose from, Cardigan Castle, Picton Castle, Dinefwr and Pembroke Castle to name a few. Close by are the ruins of Cilgarran and Newcastle Emlyn castles take a picnic and sit by the river.

A great day out can be had at many of the tourist attractions to include Oakwood Theme Park, Cardigan Island Coastal Farm Park, Folly Farm and Zoo, Manor Wild Life Park and many more attractions available.
