A perfect base to explore all of Dartmoors wonders including hiking, biking, horseriding, local ale trails, gastronomy and much more that Dartmoor has to offer. We provide a range of walking maps at the property. There is ample parking at the property for up to four vehicles, including undercover parking. There is a bus stop within walking distance of the house which has regular services to Okehampton and Exeter, the nearby town of okehampton also has an hourly train service. We are situated 5 minutes from the A30 which connects to all parts of Devon and Cornwall. Okehampton is a 10 minute drive away and Exeter city and airport 30 minutes drive. The Village of South Zeal has 2 pubs which both offer food, a village shop and cafe which sells local produce. A short walk to Sticklepath where you can find 2 pubs, tea room, shop and post office, museum focusing on Dartmoor life and many historical walks.
