Approaching Milton House along the private driveway, from the moment you arrive you will feel right at home.
The impressive dining room seats 20, so everyone can dine together in style. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need to prepare and enjoy a fantastic meal, whether you decide to cook it yourself or bring in a professional chef.
The large drawing room provides enough space for everyone and is the perfect spot to get together and enjoy a drink in the company of good friends. The patio doors open to reveal impressive views of the gardens and grounds. The conservatory also has doors out onto the patio and is a great place to sit and enjoy the gardens. Leading on from the conservatory, you will find a fantastic heated indoor pool and hot tub.
There is also a cosy snug, furnished with a TV and comfy seating for when you want to put your feet up and enjoy some downtime.
Milton House has a total of 10 fantastic bedrooms, six bathrooms and a downstairs loo. All bedding, linen and towels are provided. Our games room has a snooker table, table tennis, darts board and movie area.
Outside, we have wonderful gardens to explore, complete with a barbecue area, and interconnected lakes which attract all kinds of wildlife.
Being close to the the Twinwoods Adventure Park which offers indoor skydiving and surfing, as well as Bedford town centre, there is plenty to do in the local area! Bedford has a wonderful river to walk along as well as many great pubs, restaurants and shops.
Bedford train station is on a direct line to London Bridge and Kings Cross St Pancras. With great links to the M1 and A1 and plenty of parking; getting to Milton House is a breeze.
Guest access
Guest have exclusive access to the entire house, grounds, swimming pool and games room.

• Please observe and adhere to all speed limits on the driveways.
• Please do not enter the working farms. This is for your own safety as the farmers could be shooting.
• When on our walking routes, please close all gates and keep any dogs on leads.
• Please adhere to all signage with regards to parking. Do not park anywhere which may cause a nuisance to our neighbours.
• Noise. Please respect our neighbours, in particular, with regards to noise – consider children’s bedtimes. Your gathering must be brought inside by 9pm on weekdays and 10pm on weekends to control noise.
• The pools and hot tubs may be check during your stay by the caretaker. Please be aware that he may be on the premises for this and for other maintenance purposes.
• The pool cover is not a safety cover and must be removed fully before swimming. It will not support your weight.
• Children must not be allowed to enter the pool area unsupervised.
• Please do not swim in the lakes.
• Please ensure to use the designated smoking areas only.
• Only wood is to be burned in our fires and these must be extinguished if left or when you go to bed.
• Children must be supervised at all times.
• Children under the age of 16 are not permitted to use the hot tub.
• The hot tub must be filled with water at all times. If the water level falls below the top water jets it must be refilled immediately.
• If the pool or hot tub water is not completely clear it must not be used. Please inform us immediately if this happens.
• No glass to be taken to the pool or hot tub.
• If bringing dogs with you, please ensure to keep them under control and away from any livestock.
• Do not use any glitter or confetti. No decorations are to be sellotaped, pinned or blue tacked to the walls or doors.
• We do not allow fireworks, external speakers, DJ’s, marquees, or day guests exceeding the maximum number of guests at the property.
• Noise must be kept to a reasonable level at all times. If playing music indoors during the evenings, please ensure to keep any windows closed.
When You Leave
• The house must be vacated by 11am at the latest.
• All rubbish must be removed from the house and gardens, and placed in the correct bins outside.
• All washing up must be done or loaded into the dishwasher.
• All unused food is to be thrown away or taken with you.
• All furniture and items must be returned to where they came from.
Failure to observe the above rules may result in loss of damage deposit.
