Summary: We stayed at the Marine Troon for three nights whilst touring the area. It is a beautiful hotel right on the coast with stunning views over the Isle of Arran. The staff were friendly and the room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. The service in the restaurants was patchy however. One evening, we waited over 30 minutes for our food to arrive and one drink never arrived. The following night, we had to wave down the wait staff to ask for a menu after sitting at a table for 20 minutes. It was not overly busy at these times so it suggests the staff need additional training. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again when in the area.
