Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Self catering so no breakfast. Overall ambiance and good position for our needs - we were on a geology field trip. The weather was superb.

Negative: The dining room table at maximum sat 8. our planned party was 11 but 2 had to drop out for other commitments and we had to use 2 small occasional tables at one end to extend it. The kitchen was poorly designed for 11 adults and most probably for any combination of party. There were too few dessert and soup spoons. The fridge space was far too small and most of the shelves in the fridge door were missing. We had taken an electric cool box and had to use it all week and share any spare space with our friends. The water pressure for the showers was inadequate several only had a dribble of water.

Summary: We had an interesting and enjoyable field trip but this was not enhanced by the accommodation.
