Tucked away peacefully among the streams and woodlands of the Fairy Glen lies the simply exquisite Nant Uchaf. This is truly a wonderful cottage where the old and the new meet seamlessly, from the peaceful lane you will see the traditional exterior of a fine Welsh cottage, however the second you walk through the gate and into the private patio you immediately realise that this house has been designed carefully and lovingly with an eye for something very special and modern. The superb open plan kitchen overlooking the mountains, the fabulous tiled bathrooms and of course the sumptuous comfortable sitting room all suggest that the owners own style and personality have been very carefully reflected in this exceptional renovation. When you stay here, you are really in for a treat! The view from the kitchen on a sunny day when the bifold doors are fully opened, with the sounds of the stream and nature all around, I challenge anyone not to fall in love with this delightful and very special cottage.
Nant Uchaf is located in Snowdonia, in a beautiful valley called the Sychnant Pass, ancient roman roads once passed through here and high up in the mountains you can still walk the very same path the Romans took along the ‘Roman road’. The walks here are simply amazing, the reward for making your way up the mountain from Nant Uchaf has to be seen to be believed, the views are so far reaching that it is considered possible to see Ireland on a clear sunny day. The pretty little village of Dwygyfylchi has a great pub that is much loved by locals and visitors alike and you can be sure of a warm welcome and great pub food every time. Further afield the UNESCO town of Conwy is just ten minutes by car and Anglesey is little over 15 minutes by car. The beauty of Nant Uchaf is that it ticks so many boxes, if you want to explore you are central to so much natural scenery, but if you just want to relax and unwind then there is no better location than the privacy and luxury of this fabulous cottage, the hot tub will certainly help you relax at the end of a day too!

Bathrooms: One downstairs shower room with WC, basin and shower and an upstairs family bathroom with WC, Basin, Bath.
Kitchen: Open plan with central dining table. A very well equipped and modern kitchen with Electric hob and double oven, Fridge/Freezer, Washing machine, Dishwasher, Tumble dryer and microwave. There are large room width bi-folding doors that open up to mountain views.
Sitting Room: Comfortable seating for all guests, Large 65” TV with Freeview, log burner.
Dining: Open plan dining area with kitchen. Seating for 8 guests.
Utility Room: Seperate room off kitchen with Washing machine, tumble dryer
Heating: The house is central heated and there is a log burner in the sitting room. Initial supply of logs is provided.
Parking: There is off road parking at the house for 2 cars.
Garden: There is a lawned area above the cottage that also has a patio and hot tub area. Here there is a table and chairs. On the lower level where the kitchen doors open out to there is a private patio area that has an outdoor dining table and chairs. A great spot for alfresco dining!
