The house is furnished in a modern light airy style with large living area containing original artwork, two large sofas and lounge chairs, coffee table and smart TV which provides access to Catchup, Netflix, YouTube, Amazon Prime etc. The kitchen/diner has modern appliances including two fridges, dishwasher, washing machine (in garage), ceramic cooker and polished stone work tops. A new boiler using the latest NEST control system has been installed. A smart speaker streams music from Spotify. There is a new large master bedroom with en-suite added in 2022 with balcony - lie in bed and watch the sea, a second large master bedroom with en-suite, a large twin bedroom, and a small bedroom which can sleep 1 or 2 people at a pinch. All bathrooms are modernised with walk-in showers and marble tiling. The new lounging area doubles as a playroom - it has a table tennis table - you can borrow the surf boards at your own risk. Via the french doors, there is a lovely patio area with table and chairs and a new Weber gas barbecue - also for use at own risk. There is parking for about 4 cars.
There are stunning sea views from the house and garden, with the garden extending to about 1/3 acre mostly populated with wild flowers - great for sitting watching the sunset over the sea sipping a glass of wine. Sun-lovers can lounge in the garden or decamp to the beach with deck chairs.
Crackington Haven is located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It was once a small harbour importing coal and limestone and it has managed to escape any development so remains a small unspoiled, secret cove.
When the conditions are right it is a great surfing spot and there is a lifeguard during the summer holiday weeks. In the spring the cliffs are covered in heather and it is a wonderful place to see the wild flowers and hear the birdsong.
The gently sloping beach is perfect for exploring or for relaxing and although pebbly when the tide is high there is plenty of sand for building castles once the tide heads out. Crackington really is a special place, perfect for a family holiday away from the crowds.
The Cabin Café in the village across the road from the beach serves lovely local produce and homemade goodies. The family pub, The Coombe Barton Inn, serves delicious food and beverages; surf boards, wetsuits and beach items can be hired or bought at the beach front.

Take a wooded valley walk inland from the car park and enjoy the breathtaking scenery and wildlife.
Take a walk North to Pencarrow Point and climb up to Cornwall’s highest cliff at 735 feet.
Discover the inspiring parish of St Gennys: churches, ancient farms, historical sites & buildings and tales of shipwrecks.
Observe the famous zig-zag folds and faults in rock formations formed millennia ago, from black shale, sandstone and quartz veins.
As the tide goes out see what you can find while rock pooling.
For those looking to travel a little further afield, the lovely towns of Boscastle, Bude and Tintagel are all within a reasonable drive and offer a wide array of cafe’s, bars and restaurants, as well as independent retailers offering locally sourced produce and merchandise.
