Because of its history, the flat has amazing, high ceilings giving it a really light and airy feel as well as loads of original features. Located in the leafy area of Camberwell, it offers all the comfort that you need to enjoy a great stay! You're only a 15-minute distance from Oval Tube station, connecting you to the Northern Line. Because of its history, the flat has amazing, high ceilings giving it a really light and airy feel as well as loads of original features. Look out for the statue of St Gabriel as you come into to the property, as well as the amazing converted chapel The living room is the heart of the home. It's a very inviting space where you can kick back and sink into the sofa, reading a nice book whilst enjoying a cup of tea. The window, framed by long, classy curtains, lets plenty of light in and offers romantic views of the autumnal colours of the neighbourhood. The sofa unfolds into a double sofa bed, for a total capacity of 4 guests. Loads of natural light enhance the natural, wooden flooring and the wall art. The room also has a spacious dining table, so you can enjoy your fine, homemade delicacies together. The kitchen is right next to the living room, ideal if you’re looking for snacks or pop-corns, without missing too much of your favourite TV show. You will enjoy cooking in the spacious kitchen, which is fully-equipped with easy-to-use appliances. The use of wood for the spacious cupboards add warmth to the room, making it a welcoming space you’d love to spend time in. Prepare your best dishes, serve up on the dining table and surprise your beloved ones with your masterpieces. You will be guaranteed a peaceful night's sleep in the master bedroom. The room features a lavish king-size bed dressed in hotel-quality linen. There is plenty of storage space for you to unpack your belongings straight away, in the chest of drawers and in the polished closet. The use of subtle décor and a romantic colour scheme add to the room’s cosy atmosphere. Lazy mornings couldn’t be more perfect! The flat gives you also access to a spacious bathroom, decorated with narrow, beige tiles for a relaxing and calming vibe! Soak stress in a bubble bath or have your energies reloaded with a shower before heading off exploring. Soft, cotton towels and toiletries are provided to each guest. My property will be professionally cleaned before your stay. Access Guests can access the entire property. It is paramount that we are respectful towards our neighbours. Neighborhood Camberwell Green (15 mins walk) has a number of good pubs and restaurants: best pubs for food or a drink are the Camberwell Arms or the Crooked Well; Theo's is the best pizza place in London; Good Neighbour is a good wine bar; the Lumberjack is a very good coffee shop. You can also walk to Brixton Village (20 mins) or take a bus for a huge number of bars, restaurants and cafes. If you're heading up to Oval, pop into the Cable Street Bakery for an amazing coffee and a delicious cardamom bun. There is a great farmers market at St Mark's Church opposite Oval tube station each Saturday from 10-3. Pop along to find some delicious local produce. Dulwich Park and picture gallery are both very pretty and not too far away. If you want to go for a walk, it is worth looking up the South London Green Chain walk for ideas, I particularly like starting at Nunhead Cemetery. Transit This apartment has perfect transport links! Buses run into Victoria from Camberwell New road and into central London from Brixton Road, both of which are about 10 mins walk away. The nearest tubes are Oval for the Northern Line (15 mins walk), and Stockwell for the Victoria line (20 mins walk). Both lines work 24 hours non-stop on weekends. From Oval, London Bridge is 4 stops away, meaning that you can get to London’s main attractions in less than 10 mins and have access to National Rail services. Gatwick Airport is particularly easy to access from there, just hop on any train to Brighton and in 30 minutes you’ll be checking in. If you fancy a ride, you can use Uber, Addison Lee or Gett which are nice and cheaper alternatives to taxis. Things to note: - Please note the flat is on the first floor with elevator access!
