Positive: We liked the park itself and how quiet it is. The lodge to look at is ok. Hot tub worked and enjoyed by myself and kids. Beds were comfy clean bedding towels. Bathrooms are good. Kitchen well equipped. Bbq at the back. It's a very small site at the foot of dovestone walks was lovely. Everyone was friendly. Nice time with my children, and it was very much needed due to personal circumstances.

Negative: We stayed in Lodge 3. The awful stench as soon as you walked in took us all by surprise, but we arrived late and had no staff to help. I had to buy febreeze to help and air it out a lot. Unfortunately, the stench still sat there. Curtains looked stained by animal urine, too, which was awful. Couches covered in covers that slipped didn't sit flush, constantly fixing them. WiFi awful. Hit and miss not great for the kids or watching movies. Strict on rules, which is good. Unfortunately, last night, they allowed 2 couples to reside in same cabin, and they partied loud with a sound system of some sort and had what sounded like helium canisters going off every couple minutes. Security nowhere to seen considering I seen him day and night daily. Another lodge had guests over again loud and disturbing. Left a note in the cabin for staff to acknowledge yet to hear from the site. Would love to stay again but sadly not in lodge no.3 Tv in bedroom didn't work and lights on hot tub didn't either. Bit of a downfall tbh. But hey nothing is ever perfect. I just got the wrong cabin this time.
