Mayfly is an elegant safari tent nestled in the North Yorkshire countryside in West Tanfield near Ripon. It sleeps up to six people featuring two comfortable bedrooms. Inside, you'll find a spacious open-plan living area with a wood-burning stove and a well-appointed kitchenette. Each tent features a generous living space with an open-plan kitchenette equipped with a microwave oven, four-plate induction hob, fridge, freezer and tea and coffee facilities.
The spacious living area includes two large sofas, a Smart TV, and a wood-burning stove, while the dining area boasts a large family table with great views over the terrace.
Mayfly has two comfortable bedrooms, accommodating up to six people, including children of all ages. The master bedroom features a king-size bed, while the second bedroom has a double set of bunk beds sleeping four. A travel cot and highchair can be provided upon request. All bedrooms are dressed with Egyptian cotton bed linen, 13.5 tog duvets and an electric blanket for added comfort.
The family bathroom includes all facilities with a generous overhead rainfall shower.
Step outside to cook on the gas BBQ, or sit around the firepit perfect for marshmallow toasting.
Dogs are welcome, and you’ll have access to the surrounding local walks right on the doorstep.

You can book the entire sauna for yourself, couple or friends/family. This is a private session, so you will not have to share the sauna with others. We allow a maximum of 4 people in a private session. This is a 90’ minute long session including time for changing before and after.
If you book on behalf of your group, you need to make sure that everybody has read and agreed to the waiver form.
Everybody in the group needs to be at least 16 years old to use the sauna.
