Outside, the cottage is surrounded by gardens on three sides, with a patio with furniture and a ten-seater hot tub. There is also off road parking for five cars. This historic village is located between Ilkley and Skipton and sits snugly in the valley of the River Wharfe, only three miles from the Dales National Park at Bolton Abbey. A corn mill near where High Mills is today was also mentioned in the Domesday Book in 1315, and over from the river is a weir, one of the most ancient medieval constructions in the village.
