Summary: The cottage was pristine, we felt like we were the first guests. It is a spacious, comfortable and stylish property and the owner’s attention to detail is second to none. Large beds and great showers. Very quiet at night so we slept well. Large private garden. Warcop is a lovely village with good walks along the river & streams. The Chamley Arms around the corner was very welcoming but we just missed out on being able to eat there as they are starting serving meals in July. However we enjoyed the food and friendly welcome at the Sandford Arms in the next village, Sunday lunch was particularly good. Despite the changeable weather we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cosy Nook Cottage, it is not a typical holiday let, it’s a wonderful home.
