This lovely cottage is located in the small, peaceful Highland town of Newtonmore. We are opposite the primary school near to the junction for Golf Course Rd.
Newtonmore is the exact epicentre of Scotland, nestled in the Cairngorm National Park, surrounded by equally epic scenery.
A small grocery store is a few minutes walk away. The town has a beautiful golf course, tennis and bowling clubs, a church, 3 pubs, 6 restaurants, 2 cafes, a barber, four gift shops, Harris Tweed Shop, petrol station, and a pharmacy.
The Highland Folk Museum is well worth a visit and there’s a super child’s playground there as well as an old fashioned sweety shop!
The main line railway station is a 15 minute walk, and the Wildcat trail attracts many visitors. The famous Highland Wildlife Zoo is a 15 minute drive away.
Kingussie and Newtonmore are connected by a path for cyclists and walkers. Or jump in the car for 4 minutes and you will find more shops, galleries, cafes, bike shops, and a chippy!

This spacious cottage has open plan living areas and excellent location make it the perfect choice for families and friends to get away together, year round in all seasons.
Enjoy hiking, skiing, cycling, water sports, shopping..all within easy reach.
This cute and homely cottage retains traditional character but also includes a host of modern comforts, making it an ideal home away from home. The house is fully double glazed. We are child friendly but there are no locks on cupboards nor stair gate.

As a self-catering cottage, you'll find everything you need for a perfect stay.
The kitchen has a fridge, a hob, an oven, a kettle, a freezer and a microwave. It’s very well equipped with a crockpot/slow cooker, food processor/blender.
The cottage is a perfect place to relax and offers TV, basic Sky channels, and high speed broadband.
There are 2 leather sofas in the lounge area, and the dining area is in a lovely garden room, which is adjacent to the spacious and well equipped kitchen.
Outside there is a large private garden with plenty of space for children and dogs. This is a fully enclosed space..private and secure.
Off street parking at the back for three cars.
This cottage has 3 bedrooms and can comfortably sleep 6 people. There’s a large rear bedroom downstairs, has a superkingsize bed, and is next to the bathroom.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms each with twin beds and there’s a shower room in between them.
There are 2 bathrooms. One downstairs and the other is upstairs.
The first bathroom has a toilet and sink and Bath also with over bath shower and screen.
The upstairs bathroom has a toilet and sink and a walk-in shower.
Linen and towels are included.
Parties such as hen and stag cannot be accommodated.
Small family gatherings are perfect.
House Rules:
- Check-in time is 4pm and check-out is 11am.
- Smoking is NOT allowed inside the house.
- We ask that you treat our house with respect and leave the house in the same condition as when you arrived.
