Summary: A Georgian house of lovely proportioned rooms I found the maneuvering to squeeze an extra parking space into the town centre site’s court car park was a sad reflection on the ridiculous car spreading of recent years- cars like people are now mostly obese. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom palatial in size - I have slept in rooms smaller than our bathroom was. A Nespresso machine was very welcome as I admired the cathedral lit by a rosy fingered dawn through the perfect proportions of the Georgian window panes. The breakfast is good. It would be fun to know more about whether there could be local food on offer but the apple juice jams and honeys are simply supermarket stuff.
