Located towards the lower end of Ridge Hill and opposite the Royal Naval College, 11 Ridge Hill is only a few minutes' walk into Dartmouth and its array of boutiques, restaurants and pubs. This beautifully designed ground floor apartment boasts views over Coronation Park towards the River Dart.
There is a short steep hill which leads to three steps to access the property. The front door opens into a spacious central hallway. The open plan living area is cosy and stylishly furnished, with attractive oak flooring, two sofas, wall-mounted TV and a wood-effect stove. There is also a circular dining table with seating for four people. Doors lead from the living area to the courtyard garden. The modern, galley kitchen has oak worktops and floors, a Range cooker, a Belfast sink and other modern appliances.
The en suite master bedroom has a Super King-size bed (can be split into twin beds on request), a TV and plenty of storage, views across the park towards the river, and a tiled en suite shower room. The second bedroom has a double bed, a TV and plenty of storage also. In addition to the en suite is a family bathroom. To the rear of the apartment is an enclosed courtyard with outdoor furniture, with glimpses of the stunning River Dart.
From 11 Ridge Hill, explore Dartmouth and the surrounding area on foot; walk the Dart Valley Trail, or catch the passenger ferry to Dittisham and Greenway House. Alternatively, head to Blackpool Sands or Start Bay for a day on the beach.
Dartmouth lies on the banks of the beautiful River Dart in the popular and picturesque South Hams area of South Devon. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the stunning Start Bay coastline, Dartmouth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Devon. It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many popular events such as the annual Dart Music Festival, Dartmouth Food Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta. This historic town boasts interesting landmarks, such as Dartmouth Castle, the Britannia Royal Naval College, and the National Trust's Greenway House just a short ferry ride away. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes. A trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway through the rolling countryside to Paignton is a must, and so is a boat or ferry trip across to Kingswear, on to Brixham, or down the river to the village of Dittisham. For those seeking sandy beaches, there is a wide choice in the South Hams area such as Blackpool Sands and Slapton Sands, both extremely popular beaches just a stone's throw from Dartmouth.
