Offering accommodation for up to eight people, the house is at the south end of a range of three dwellings, and has views across fields and moor. It is full of historical interest and original features, with carved and painted beams, mullioned windows, granite fireplaces, a stone spiral staircase, recessed window seats, and many other interesting nooks and crannies to explore. Due to the staircase, the house is not really suitable for toddlers. Comfortably but not luxuriously furnished, it is a much loved family house with a very welcoming atmosphere, showing some signs of wear and tear (not everything matches), filled with paintings, antiques, curios, books, maps and games. With the south moor and winding Dart valley on its doorstep, it is an ideal base for walkers and there is also a wide range of activities for children in the area. The south Devon coast is within an hour’s drive.
