Beautiful 1 bedroom flat in East London w/balcony | Apartment in London
1 Bedroom Apartment in St. Dunstan's, London
Welcome to my home! My beautiful 1 bedroom apartment, in vibrant East London, is a stylish and comfortable place to stay and has terrific transport links. You’re just across the road from Stepney Green tube station which is on the Hammersmith & City line and the District line, taking you to Liverpool Street, Paddington and Kings Cross in only a couple of stops! My apartment is thoughtfully decorated with pieces I have collected on my travels - I hope you enjoy staying here as much as I do! ## Space My stylish 1 bedroom apartment is the perfect base when visiting London. Conveniently located in the exciting East London area of Stepney Green and with great transport links, you’ll be right in the hub of the city but able to escape the hustle and bustle! The gorgeous living area is light and airy with a beautiful, modern design and lovely finishing touches - I have collected some great pieces from around the world. Relax on the sofa, hang out, make yourself at home! It’s a welcoming and inviting space where you can kick back and the sofa opens out into a bed. From the living area, you can access the lovely private balcony - it is sheltered here, so you can venture out whatever the weather. It’s nice to see some greenery in London. If cooking is your thing, you’re going to love spending time in the stylish kitchen. All the appliances are easy to use - you’ll enjoy showing off your culinary skills here! There’s even a welcome pack stuffed full of coffee, tea (of course!), and proper English scones. The master bedroom has a super comfortable UK King-sized bed and, with fresh luxury linens, what more do you need for a good night’s sleep? You don’t have to live out of your suitcase; plenty of storage room in the mirrored wardrobe means you can get unpacking and start feeling at home right away. Freshen up in the lovely bathroom - enjoy a soak in the large tub or wake up in the mornings with a shower. White fluffy towels, shampoo, shower gel and hand soaps are provided! My property will be professionally cleaned before your stay. ## Access Guests will have access to the entire property and balcony. ## Interaction My friends at Hostmaker are looking after my home while I am away; they are an apartment management service team who know London like the back of their hand! I trust them to look after you and give you a warm welcome! It is also a short walk from Liverpool Street station). Dennis Severs’ House on Folgate Street in Spitalfields Bit of a hidden gem that not many people know about and I always take overseas visitors there for an amazing glimpse into the old London of the past. It calls itself a ‘still-life drama’, created by the previous owner as a ‘historical imagination’ of what life would have been like inside for a family of Huguenot silk weavers in the 18th century. Can’t recommend it highly enough: (You can walk there from either Aldgate East or Liverpool Street stations). Brick Lane The area around Brick Lane was once associated with poor slums and was the scene of the Jack the Ripper Murders. The area is now extremely popular with London’s edgy artistic crowd, featuring galleries, exhibitions (in the old Truman Brewery) pop-up restaurants, clubs, markets and festivals throughout the year, and is also famous for its many Bangladeshi restaurants – a great place for a curry. (A short walk from Aldgate East tube). Genesis Cinema A brilliant independent cinema five minutes’ walk away down Mile End Road going west towards the City. Shows blockbusters as well as independent films, has a bar and you can take drinks into the auditorium with you. They have two more luxurious studios with armchair seating and blankets. Victoria Park, as mentioned before, this beautiful park is practically on the doorstep. It is always packed full of families, dogs and runners and host slots of big music festivals in the summer, most notably the hugely popular dance festival, Lovebox. London Walks This is not specifically a local thing but is just brilliant. This company runs guided themed walking tours (e.g. Old Westminster, Ghosts and Gaslight, Harry Potter tour, Jack the Ripper tour) around different parts of London, all day every day of the year, with really knowledgeable, charismatic guides. This is hands down one of the best ways to explore and learn its history. Anyone who wants to go meets the guide at a particular tube stop, pays around £10, then off you go for a couple of hours, and they drop you back at another tube stop. ## Transit Getting around could hardly be easier - Stepney Green is opposite the apartment and connects you to both the District and Hammersmith & City lines. You can get to famous locations such as Westminster and King's Cross in under half an hour. ## Notes
