But it is also very easy to get into the centre of London and see everything that this world capital has for you. Camberwell has great restaurants, cafes, pubs and bars. Just walk down from Camberwell Grove and you'll be surrounded by them. My favourite restaurants are Silk Road (great Xianjang food), Theo's (pizza), FM Mangal (Turkish), Moloko (Cameroonian creperie), and Nadine (Kurdish). The Camberwell Arms is a pub but has superb British food too. But there's many more both upmarket and cheap. Great pubs too. Stormbird and Pigeon Hole for good beers. Hermit's Cave for a comfy pub. Walkabout 15 minutes to Peckham for even more choices! ##Transit There are lots of buses in Camberwell. Go down from Camberwell Grove to find the bus stops. An overground and British rail network station at Denmark Hill. Less than 10 min walk away.
