Super homely touches (books, DVDs, welcome food pack, Nespresso machine, toiletries, extra blankets). Super useful touches (universal adaptor so you can recharge your phones etc., iron, ironing board, laundry facilities). Ever wanted to browse in world-famous Camden Market? It's on your doorstep! Ever wanted to see the sights in central London? They are a few minutes away by underground or bus (buses stop yards away from the apartment)! Ever wanted to wander around in quaint Primrose Hill where the movie stars live? It's moments away on foot! Keen on history? Karl Marx lived just doors away, and Charles Dickens' mother lived next door! Like to eat out in restaurants and pubs or relax in cafes? There are literally hundreds of cafes, pubs and restaurants in the area! Enjoy some fresh air with your morning coffee? The apartment has its own private patio (with table and chairs) leading on to a peaceful secluded garden. Want to put your feet up and watch some TV when you get home in the evening? You have a full Sky TV package! Fancy reading some new books? There are shelves full! Got children? We provide games and a travel cot and high chair for an infant. Need help with your stay? We are around for any requests or queries, and to lend a hand when needed. This is a recently refurbished entire apartment with its own private entrance. Light-filled, high ceilings, real wood floors, homely modern decor in a Victorian terrace. The apartment is very close to transport (Chalk Farm tube station and many buses), the excitement of Camden, the charm of Primrose Hill, and the tranquility of Hampstead Heath. Sleeps 4 (or maybe 5, please check with host for suitability). The apartment is simple but attractive, with wood floors, white walls, and high ceilings. The kitchen is hand-built and fully-equipped, with oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and clothes washer-dryer. Both bedrooms have garden views and direct access to the patio where a small table and chairs is available for outdoor eating. The bathroom has a tub with a shower over the tub. (Please note: no separate shower cubicle, no handles in tub). You'll find hairdryers, plenty of clean towels and bed-linen, a welcome pack with some basic drinks and food for breakfast, and we can also supply a weekly shop if required. There are books in the apartment which you are welcome to read, plus some games and toys for children too. We would be glad to make reservations for restaurants, theatres, etc. on behalf of guests. The street is a residential street with mainly Victorian buildings (see the picture of the front of the house). It is central, wide and quiet. The apartment is professionally cleaned after each stay, and we can also supply a cleaner during your stay if you'd like one. Please feel free to ask any questions - all enquiries are welcomed. Some Things Worth Noting! 1. Check in time is 3pm! Check out time is 11 am! 2. Distance to the tube station is just under 0.4 miles. The bus stop is 100 yards away. 3. This is a 160 year old old building! If you are looking for somewhere very modern and pristine then this may not be the place for you. 4. It's an ordinary apartment! We love our home and spend money looking after it, but it isn't an hotel. We hope it is comfortable, but it's not luxurious. 5. We strive to clean up very thoroughly after previous guests but of course we sometimes miss things. We always want to put such rare mistakes right as quickly as possible - so if you find dirt - or anything which needs to be rectified - then we are glad to do so straight away. 6. There are no handles in the bath tub. 7. The armchair is now a (Finnish classic mid-century design) rocking chair. Most people find this comfortable but some do not. If you feel that you need an armchair you may want to consider booking elsewhere- or you can always ask us to bring one down from upstairs for your stay :) 8. The sofa in the first pictures has been replaced by the sofa bed in the final pictures. This is technically an upgrade (the sofa bed is very expensive and leather covered) but they are a different shape and the sofa bed is much firmer feel as a sofa. 9. Life happens :) ... We cannot predict problems but we do strive to solve any problem extremely quickly, and have great tradespeople we can call in to help. 10. We are ordinary people renting out a part of our house for some of the time. Our greatest pleasure if when you have a great stay. Once booking site fees, cleaning, maintenance, supplies, utility bills and property taxes are paid, we make a small income to pay for our son's music lessons. Previous Reviews.
