Laundry is coin operated; state of the art washing and drying machines are available throughout the day and late into the night (typical wash price is £3. 20). There is 24 hour key card access and CCTV, whilst a porter is on duty throughout the night. There is also a table tennis table in the gym, with rent-able rackets from reception.
In Zone 2 North West London, the closest tube station is four minutes away at Royal Oak (Hammersmith & City, Circle line), Warwick Avenue is 12 minutes away (Oxford street 6 stops away on Bakerloo line). Paddington station is 15 minutes walk away.
Bus routes are from the door take residents into central London in 20 minutes, with Kensington Palace Gardens 10 minutes walk away and Hyde Park 12 minutes away by bike (Barclays bike station nearby on Porchester Square).
All facilities including 20MB Wifi Internet, gym, quiet study area, cleaning service, garden and roof terrace are included in the rate. The rooms includes fridge/freezer, oven/microwave, en-suite bathroom, wardrobes, linen and desk with chair.

We want you to enjoy your stay at Torquay House and ask that you respect common areas and keep noise to a minimum at night time for the benefit of everyone's stay.
All guests must provide a valid form of photo ID (passport or UK driving licence) on check-in or the booking will not be honoured.
No curfew.
Reception staff are available 8am-8pm, but we have a night porter from 8pm-8am for late check-ins.
We are strictly over 18 at this site and can not accept any residents below 18 on any condition.
As a result of current UK legislation no smoking is allowed within the hostel.
