Meander through the lovely parks and for family fun check out the play areas or try Puzzling Place, a mind boggling attraction based on optical illusions, or the Derwent Pencil Museum, home to the largest pencil in the world. For the more energetic, the fells of Latrigg and Catbells are within easy walking distance too! Shop, pub and restaurant 30 yards.
