The Wagon House has oak beams throughout, adding to the character of the property and giving it a warm homely feel yet it has all the modern facilities you could ask for in a holiday cottage. There is a Smart TV in the living room with its oak flooring and large windows, dishwasher and fridge/freezer in the beautiful kitchen/dining room, which also has a large table perfect for meals, games and drinks of an evening. All the rooms have individual thermostats controlling the underfloor heating that runs throughout the house keeping you cosy all year round no matter the weather.
Upstairs you will find a twin bedroom and beautiful bathroom with roll-top bath and the master bedroom has a Juliet balcony and an en-suite.
Outside there is a lovely patio area leading to the lawned garden with views over the owners cider orchard and countryside beyond. There is also a private hot tub, the perfect place to relax in after a busy day exploring.
Just 2½ miles from the small town of Ilminster where you will find lots of lovely independent shops as well as larger chain stores and some great village pubs are within a 5-minute drive also. Slightly further afield is the county town of Taunton with a large range of shops, restaurants and entertainment options. The beach of Lyme Regis and West Bay are just over 35 minutes away for a lovely day out exploring. Exmoor is around 40 minutes away for the more adventurous with lots of gorgeous walks. Glastonbury, Street and Sherborne are reached in under an hours drive. Bristol and Exeter airports can be reached in less than an hour. Shop 2½ miles, pub 1¾ miles and restaurant 2½ miles.
