Head 5 miles to Symondsbury Estate for a bite to eat or a scenic walk up Colmer’s Hill, or pop to West Bay (7 miles) for fresh sea air and fish and chips by the harbour. Golden Cap (7 miles), the highest point on the South Coast and a National Trust gem, is ideal for hikers. For classic seaside charm, drive to Lyme Regis (13 miles) and enjoy its sandy beaches, cute shops and ample fossil hunting opportunities.
