The village of Henstead provides easy access to the Suffolk Heritage Coast. The village has two pubs and is within a short drive from the market town of Beccles (6 miles). Other close attractions are Southwold (7 miles), Oulton Broad (7 miles) and Covehithe (4 miles). The fine city of Norwich with its cathedral and castle is only 26.5 miles away. There are many good pubs, restaurants, shops, lovely walks, bird watching at RSPB Minsmere, fishing, boat hire and trips, all but a short drive away.
